John White's Friday Mixer continues all year round,
starting at 7 PM
Couples, individual members and non-members, levels 3.0 - 4.0 have been having lots of fun playing tennis and socializing afterward.
Stick around afterwards for laid back fun. Food and beverage provided by Jabi Tibo Cafe.
Starting in the Fall, John will be adding a singles round-robin night for men, women, and teenagers. There will be five flights, 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, 2.5 level of play. |

Every month one of the Friday night mixers will have a theme. On August 1 the theme was Hawaii night, and everyone had a great time - prizes were given out.

Artist Wine and Cheese Receptions
About every eight weeks we have a wine and cheese reception for our guest artist who displays their works on our club level. Philip Koch has been a long time fitness member at GSRC. He is a professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and is one of the best known artists in Maryland. Phil has graciously volunteered to help us by selecting upcoming artists' works that can be displayed on our art wall for about eight weeks.
