Ladies Open League (LOL) is Back for Fall 2012! - October 29 - January 10
Ladies Open League play starts the week of October 29, 2012 to January 10, 2013, for 8 weeks, from noon to 2:00 pm. All play is Doubles Tennis at Green Spring Racquet Club. Each day of play will have a total of 48 spots.
No LOL play Thanksgiving week.
From noon to 2 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
The cost is $50 for a GSRC active member and $65 for non-members.
Registration deadline is September 1, 2012
There is no play during Thanksgiving week, November 19 and during Dec 24 to Jan 4. (A new session will start in January 14, 2013.)
Green Spring Racquet Club is offering a free ½ hour tennis evaluation with one of our pros to determine your level of play. Your spot will be held until your evaluation is completed. Evaluations must be completed by August 31.
Tuesdays will be geared for the 3.0 to 3.5 player, Wednesdays 2.5 to 3.0 player, and Thursdays will be 3.5 to 4.5 player.
Please remember that if you have a sub and they are not a GSRC member, they must pay a $5 guest fee. They can only sub three times, otherwise they must become a member of GSRC.
The LOL committee has the final say of which day a player will be assigned.

What is this?
A committee was formed in April 2011, which includes representatives from the Interclub and Rec League tennis community. This meeting produced a new tennis idea for the fall and winter indoor season, called “LOL”
Here’s the idea...
How does it work? Tuesdays will be geared for the 3.0 to 3.5 player, Wednesdays 2.5 to 3.0 player, and Thursdays will be 3.5 to 4.5 player. There will be 4 teams of 12 players that will have a captain for each team. These teams will compete against each other. This will be a hybrid between interclub play and USTA.
