Membership Information for the 2008-2009 Season

Club membership fees have remained the same as last season, and we’ve added many new benefits listed below that are available only to club members.

• Family memberships include two adults and children under the age of 18, with a fee of $325 per year.
• Individual adult membership have a fee of $176 per year.
• Junior (under age 18) membership have a fee of $98 per year.

Some important dates to remember are:

• The 2007-2008 season ends on Sunday, May 4, 2008
• The 2008-2009 season is 34 weeks, and begins on Monday, September 8, 2008 and ends on Sunday, May 3, 2009.
• We are now accepting contract block time reservations. A 10% deposit is required to hold the reservation, and we must receive full payment by September 1, 2008. We’ve made some changes in how contract block time is run. Each contract time will have a Team Name, and each team will have one team captain who is responsible for assuring that full payment for the contract is made, and that everyone on the team is a club member.
• Discounts on club membership fees and contract time fees are available until June 1.

Membership and Contract Block Time forms are available on our website. You can bring in the forms on your next visit, or mail them in. We will not be sending out bills for membership or contract times this year.

New membership benefits include:

• 10% discount on the 2008-2009 GSRC membership fee, if paid by June 1, 2008.
• 10% discount on contract block time, if paid in full by June 1, 2008. Please review the contract time application for full details.
• To reserve contract block time, you must have your 2008-2009 GSRC membership paid in full.
• Contract time substitutes may play up to three times. After the third visit, he or she must either become a member or pay the $15 Guest Fee each time he or she plays.
• 10% discount on clothing items in our Pro Shop, throughout the year.
• Four hours of free court time during the summer. Call up to two hours in advance to reserve a one hour slot if available. If you renew your membership before June 1, 2008, you’ll receive a total of eight free hours!
• Members have free use of basketball and beginner practice areas.
• Tennis pros will now offer discounted adult and youth clinic rates for members.
• Members will be able to book random time online, up to one week in advance, using your credit card to hold the reservation.
• You’ll be able to view available contract block times online.
• We’ll be having more tournaments, round-robins, and league play this season, with preference given to club members.
• Be sure you’re on our email list so you can receive our monthly newsletter.

Tennis court time prices are as follows.

Saturday and Sunday
7 AM to 5 PM, $35/hour
5 PM to Close, $25/hour

Squash court time prices are as follows.

$25 for a 45-minute session.

From November 1 through March 1, Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, $35 for a 45-minute session.

Squash court time is split between the players on the court.

Racquetball court prices are $25/hour.

Racquetball court time is split between the players on the court.

Squash & Racquetball Unlimited Play Membership

The Unlimited Play Membership Level allows you to play squash or racquetball without incurring any court fees. Up to three court reservations may be made, up to one week in advance.

The 10% Maryland amusement tax is not added onto the unlimited play membership fee.

Each player on a court must be accounted for. If an Unlimited Play member shares a court, the other player must also be a member or he/she must pay the appropriate court fee.

Family Unlimited Play memberships include two adults and children under the age of 18. The fee is $115 per month.

The individual adult membership is $60 per month.

The junior (under age 18) membership is $40 per month.

A 10% discount is given if you pay for a full year in advance.

To enroll in unlimited play membership, you must fill out an application at the front desk.

Our guest fee is $15 per day.

10% Maryland amusement tax is added to court fees.
