Professional
Profile:
Steve played against some of the all time greatest tennis players: Arthur
Ashe, John McEnroe, Jimmy Conners, Rod Laver, Bjorn Borg, Ilie Nastase, Stan
Smith,
and Ivan Lendl. He won the 1977 Gold Medal for the United States at the Maccabbi
Olympic Games in Tel Aviv, Israel. After becoming a dual citizen he represented
Israel in the Davis Cup Competition from 1978-1980, and also coached the Israel
Davis Cup Team in 1989.
In 1984, after retiring from the professional tour, he started the Steve
Krulevitz
Tennis Program. While building his business at the Bare Hills Tennis Club,
Krulevitz
competed on the Grand Champions 35 and Older Tour from 1985-1989.
After moving his company to the Green Spring Racquet Club in 1989, Steve expanded
his summer camp programs and began working with professional tour players Jamie
Yzaja of Peru, Gilad Bloom of Israel, and Vince Spadea of the United
States.
Steve's extensive and diverse teaching career goes back to 1984 and more recently
he has added soccer
and basketball camps to complement his tennis programs.
